I picked this book hoping to get some good information and clarity on the topic of alcohol. I was disappointed to find out that the author used her left-sided political beliefs to try and support her way though the book. I didn’t pick up a book on politics, nor do I agree with her side of the fence, so instead of focusing on alcohol, I found myself feeling defensive towards her attacks on a system I truly believe in. She could have made a neutral platform, as not to alienate those who disagree with her. She lost me when she separated her audience through political parties. Also, if graphic “slang” language isn’t your thing, then this isn’t the book for you!
